I got back yesterday from an amazing whirlwind of a weekend that included traveling home and my 2nd bridal shower. I posted about my first one a little less than a month ago. I had a second shower for my side of the family and friends at my parents’ home this weekend and it was amazing to say the least. We were nervous about the weather (it was outside) for awhile but it all turned out ok in the end (can someone please remind me this when I’m stressing about my outdoor wedding?) I am so thankful to everyone who made it great!!

Ok let’s start with the food. This is the dish I made. It was failed Practical Paleo’s blueberry lemon muffins turned into a trifle. The muffins came out crumbly so I improvised. Cool whip isn’t paleo though. Oh well, I tried.
These cupcakes were made by a friend of my mom’s. So delicious and beautiful. And still wreaking havoc on my blood sugar.
The decorations were adorable!

The whole scene. I loved all the different table cloths.
Amazing gifts..including a recipe for meatballs from my late Grandmother.

My sisters got me Tiffany Champagne glasses!
It was so much fun but I’m sad it’s over. I’m so lucky to have such great people in my life. The stuff doesn’t mean as much as the fact I got to see some friends I haven’t seen in awhile. And the fact that they drove out there to sit and watch me open a bunch of presents. It’s weird to be the center of attention. I realized I should just enjoy it since you only get 1 (or 2) bridal shower! I should get used to it because the wedding is in T minus 60 days. Can’t freakin wait!!!!!
awww congrats! looked like a fun party and now I am craving some cupcakes 🙂
What a beautiful shower! Love the cupcake “wedding dress”!
Ah how exciting! I love all the colors- so happy! Love your dress too!
Wow everything looked so pretty and delicious! Your dress was gorgeous too. And those cupcakes make me want to eat cupcakes now which would mean cupcakes for breakfast!
Thanks!
